wormhole
wormhole — docshow to launch, cross-chain

How to launch a coin on pump.fun from any chain.

wormhole mints your coin on pump.fun's bonding curve, paid for from whatever wallet you already have: Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Zcash, NEAR, stablecoins. You never connect a wallet to launch, and the wallet that mints is one that has never existed before. This page walks through the launch end to end.

Before you start

  • · a name, a ticker and a square image for the coin
  • · some crypto on any supported chain: a bare launch costs about 0.02604 SOL worth, plus whatever dev buy you want
  • · optionally a Solana wallet to connect, so you own the launch wallet and can export its key later

There is nothing to install and nothing to sign to launch. The whole thing is one deposit.

1 · Pick what to pay with

Choose the asset in the form or click one in the explainer. Each is quoted live by NEAR Intents solvers.

SOLSolanafastest · ~20s
ETHEthereum~1 min
BTCBitcoin~15 min · min 0.06 SOL out
USDCEthereum~1 min
USDTEthereum~1 min
NEARNEARseconds
ZECZcash~8 min · shielded sender possible
ARBArbitrum~30s

Paying in SOL still goes through the intent: you pay a one-time address and a solver, not your wallet, funds the launch. Paying in shielded ZEC leaves no visible sender at all. Bitcoin has a floor from the bridge; the form tells you the dev buy that clears it.

2 · Fill the form

  1. 1.Image, name and ticker. The image is pinned to IPFS as you pick it.
  2. 2.Dev buy, typed in the asset you are paying with. It is converted to SOL and bought by the launch wallet at the opening price, so the fresh wallet holds it, not you. Leave it at 0 for no buy.
  3. 3.For any chain except Solana, an address on that chain for a refund if solvers cannot fill within 45 minutes. On Solana, refunds go to your connected wallet or to the launch wallet, which is yours.
  4. 4.Description, twitter and website are optional and go into the coin's metadata.

Press launch. The server derives a fresh launch wallet, pins the metadata, and asks NEAR Intents for a quote: exactly the SOL the launch needs, paid in your asset.

3 · Send the deposit

The session page shows the exact amount to send, a one-time deposit address and a QR code. Send from any wallet or exchange. The page polls and shows elapsed time, the time left in the window, how many times it has checked and a log of what it saw.

If a Solana wallet is connected, a pay from wallet button sends the exact amount with one signature. Sending less than quoted is refunded; sending more is refunded in the excess.

Bookmark the session link. Its id is unguessable and it is the only key to the session. If you close the tab, a keeper finishes the launch anyway.

4 · The mint

Solvers deliver the SOL to the launch wallet on Solana. The moment it lands, the launch wallet signs one transaction: create the mint, the bonding curve and the metadata, plus the dev buy if you set one, with itself as the coin's creator. The coin is live on pump.fun and appears in the launches window.

The deposit happened on the chain you paid from. The mint happened on Solana from a wallet a solver funded. The only record joining them is the intent.

5 · Your wallet, your key

The launch wallet holds the dev buy and earns the creator fees. It is yours. If a wallet was connected when you launched, that wallet owns the launch: on the session page or the coin page, sign a short message and the launch wallet's private key is shown to you, masked behind an eye toggle, once. Import it into Phantom or any Solana wallet and do as you like with the supply.

Without a connected wallet you are shown a claim secret instead, once. It exports the key the same way and is the only proof you launched the coin, so keep it outside the browser.

Exporting the key is the one point where you choose to link yourself to the launch. Nothing changes on chain until you move funds.

6 · Creator fees

pump.fun pays 30 basis points of every trade to the creator, on the curve and on the AMM after migration. Here the creator is the launch wallet. Either export the key and collect them yourself, or use the creator fees page: paste the claim secret, name any asset on any chain, and the fees are collected and routed out through another intent to that address.

Costs

Mint, curve, metadata accounts0.022rent set by Solana
Priority fee0.00004so the mint lands first try
Reserve0.004left in the wallet for later fee collection

pump buy fee1.25%of the dev buy

The funding quote is exact-output on the total, so the launch wallet receives precisely what it needs. If slightly less lands, the dev buy shrinks to fit instead of failing.

What is public

On SolanaNowhere
the coin, its mint transactionwho paid
the launch wallet, funded by a solverwhich wallet paid, on which chain
the creator: the launch walleta Solana wallet of yours: there is none in the flow
metadata naming wormhole and the paying chainwhere the fees go when you route them out

The operator holds the launch row, including any refund address you typed, and the keeper key that derives every launch wallet. That is the trust in the system. 1Click holds the intent; see their documentation.

FAQ

Do I need a Solana wallet?

No. Not to launch, not to collect fees. Connecting one is optional and only makes owning the launch wallet easier.

Where does my dev buy go?

The launch wallet holds it. Export the key to move it, or route it out with the claim secret.

What if I send the wrong amount?

Less is refunded, more is refunded in the excess. Refunds go to your connected wallet on Solana, or the address you gave on other chains.

Can I pay from an exchange?

Yes. Withdraw the quoted amount to the one-time address. Exchanges are slower; the window is long enough.

What happens after the coin migrates to the AMM?

Nothing changes. Fees keep accruing to the launch wallet.

Is this custodial?

Between deposit and mint, and for fees you have not exported, the keeper key can derive the launch wallet. Export the key and it is entirely yours.
